This marks the final episode of Deus Vult for the time being. Next week it will be replaced by Something Big, a brand new series from Chuck Dixon and Frank Fosco. It’s learned that He-Man is now black in the Kevin Smith Masters of The Universe: Revelation series coming to Netflix where it has also become known they passed on using an original black character.

Before we continue, it should actually be noted all the ideas for the Masters of the Universe: Revelation series are coming from Netflix exec Ted Biaselli, as Smith was simply hired to develop and promote the series (Kevin Smith isn’t even a He-Man fan).

So apparently Ted Biaselli’s big idea for He-Man is to make the character as woke as possible, as it already appears Teela will become the new He-Man based on the trailers and official series descriptions.

But Ted Biaselli didn’t stop there as He-Man’s grandfather has been race-swapped, changed from a white dude to a black dude.

Recall how I have said Hollywood would never allow He-Man – a blond white male – to be made out to look good in the series, and now we see the character is changed to have black ancestors and get replaced by the woke Teela.

The Hellmouth is determined to eradicate every last vestige of the West, right down to The Iliad, Beowulf, and the Bible. So it falls to us to maintain our stories, defend our culture, and make new ones. When you subscribe to Arktoons, you help us do that.

And they’re not going to stop with mere blackwashing and race-swapping:

The rise of gender-diverse representation isn’t a coincidence. Shows created and run by queer women, trans, and nonbinary showrunners are largely responsible for the influx of nonbinary and trans characters in kids’ animation. Among the 10 animated kids series that feature the most LGBTQ characters, trans, nonbinary and queer creators account for 65{cc08d85cfa54367952ab9c6bd910a003a6c2c0c101231e44cdffb103f39b73a6} of that representation alone.

Is this reparations or something?

The PA Supreme Court, wouldn’t overturn obvious election fraud, but they didn’t hesitate to overturn a rapist’s conviction and set Bill Cosby free:

Bill Cosby will be released from prison today after Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court overturned his sexual assault conviction, ruling that prosecution from five women who weren’t involved in his trial impeded his chances of a fair trial. 

The Justices also ruled that a prior remark by Montgomery County District Attorney Bryan Castor that he was not going to prosecute him, led Cosby to make incriminating comments in a civil deposition, that prosecutors later used to make their case against him.

Cosby, 83, was the first male star to be brought down by the #MeToo era. He was convicted of drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand, but he was accused in public discourse and civil lawsuits of assaulting many more women. Their claims couldn’t be prosecuted because they fell outside of statutes of limitations. 

One presumes Harvey Weinstein is next. The Hellmouth isn’t about to accept any restrictions on its minions’ behavior.

The death of the Hellmouth

The Hollywood spell is breaking:

Oscar ratings went from 43.7 million in 2014 to 23.6 million in 2020 to 9.8 million last night.

Good. Stop supporting those who hate you, your nation, and your Christian faith. Don’t give one single dime to the Hellmouth, in any of its guises.

Stop staring into the abyss and the abyss will starve.

Don’t defend the Devil’s own

Charisma Carpenter offers suggestions concerning how she thinks people should respond to allegations of historical sexual and psychological abuse:

• Please don’t tell people to “rise above,” “just move on, it was a long time ago,” “get over it” and “forgive and forget” abusive experiences. This is dismissive and devoid of empathy. Justice for the abused is an integral part of the healing process. It’s hard for a traumatized person to move on when they watch the transgressors move up the ladder and gain power even as they repeat patterns of toxic behavior without answerability.

• Don’t ask others to share details of their trauma beyond what they are willing to volunteer. Questioning someone’s experience when it is not a part of a formal investigation is insensitive and signals that you, the judge, need more evidence to evaluate what you are being told is truthful. Just listen. Be empathetic. Be a safe person.

• Believe others when they tell you they are hurt or traumatized by events that occurred in their life. It’s taken serious courage for them to identify their pain and be able to speak about it aloud.

• Don’t play devil’s advocate for an abuser, make excuses for them or imply that victims have somehow misunderstood their trauma. If they are speaking about it publicly, they have likely done hard work in regards to their trauma and gotten help to process their experience clearly.

• Don’t expect victims of abuse to talk about their abuse at the time it happened. Often it takes years for survivors to process their trauma and even longer to realize the extent of harm it has caused.

• Ranking verbal and mental abuse as less intense or serious than acts of physical violence is also a form of abuse. It denies and dismisses a person’s experience as not being “painful enough.”

• Empathize with people who have experienced verbal, mental or sexual abuse. Just because you can’t see the scars doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

• Don’t blame people for staying in abusive situations. Blame the abuser or institutions still in place for making it difficult or impossible to leave. The underlying message is that the victim “asked for it” or that it’s their fault they were abused. It’s not. It’s the abuser’s fault.

• Sexist jokes, job-security threats, microaggressions and passive-aggressive behavior can no longer be accepted as “part of the game” to get ahead. Let’s cultivate change away from such toxic tropes. We owe it to the next generation to leave a better legacy in the workplace.

• Rationalizing power abuse, misogyny, racism or sexism to a survivor by explaining, “It was a different time then,” is unacceptable. These things were never OK. If we minimize these past behaviors, we’re bound to keep doing them in the future.

• Refrain from making comments, especially publicly, that unwittingly undermine the pain of others. Ask yourself: Do I have anything substantive to add to this conversation? Have I experienced trauma from abuse and discrimination? If the answer is no, it is not your turn to be heard.

• Believe people when they say, “This happened to me.” Believe it the first time.

• When an abuser is identified, keep the focus on the culprit instead of diverting the conversation to the abuses of others. Comparisons and “whataboutism” are tactics used to obfuscate the process of holding a specific person accountable and bringing them to justice.

• Seeking accountability and consequences for patterns of workplace abuse aren’t about “cancel culture.” It’s best to reframe it as “consequences culture.”

• Don’t make a survivor responsible for how their trauma makes you feel. Rather, consider the person who has been violated. That’s where the focus belongs.

• Headlines often describe acts of rape, assault or drugging victims as “sexual misconduct.” It is not “misconduct.” These behaviors are predatory and criminal. They should be labeled accordingly. Call the thing, the thing.

• Hire people who have spoken out. Nothing is more isolating and scary than having your ability to feed your family taken away. This fear holds people hostage to their suffering and supports a broken system. Stop labeling victims of abuse as the ones who are problematic. The abuser is problematic — not the abused.

It’s important to remember that the court of public opinion is NOT a court of law. There is no presumption of innocence in the court of public opinion, and given the historical nature of the Hellmouth, there should absolutely be a presumption of guilt if a Hellmouth power player is accused of abusive behavior. It’s almost certainly true.

Too many men are fearful that they might one day be accused of their own creepy or borderline behavior, which inclines them to defend the indefensible. And the fact that some of the women who are making accusations are literal whores is irrelevant, as under even the most amoral libertarian contractual standard, a prostitute always has the right to decide with whom she will engage in business relations or not. There is no statute of limitations on history.

Good and moral men are not going to be taken down by a higher public expectations of behavior. Gammas, creeps, and pedos will be. So the higher the behavioral bar is raised, the better. And the sooner the true realities of the Hellmouth are exposed, the better. 

How did I ever know?

I don’t know anything about The Talisman, a fantasy novel published by Peter Straub and Stephen King in 1984. After all, given the success of The Lord of the Rings and A Game of Thrones, it could be about anything, right? But as soon as I heard that Steven Spielberg and the Duffer brothers had acquired the rights to turn it into a streaming show, I was pretty sure that whatever it was, it was focused on children.

Steven Spielberg has found his next project: a series adaptation of Stephen King and Peter Straub’s 1984 fantasy novel The Talisman. The 74-year-old director will be executive producing an adaptation of the book for Netflix along with the Duffer brothers, best known for creating Stranger Things for the streamer. The series has been a long time coming, as Spielberg has been interested in bringing the novel to the screen since two years before it was even published, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

That’s a strong level of interest in what is near-worthless intellectual property. Is there really any need to ask what the basis for that interest was?

The series likely appealed to the Stranger Things alumni, as it follows a 12-year-old boy named Jack Sawyer as he travels to an alternate dimension in search of a talisman to save his mother’s life.

Oh, that’s why. Quelle surprise…. 

Don’t defend Joss Whedon

Really, really don’t. Remember the old saying about where there’s smoke, there’s fire? Well, when you’re dealing with the Hellmouth, where there is even a faint whiff of sulfur, there is demonic deviancy. And the usual “hurr durr whores who don’t suicide their careers deserve the abuse” isn’t just stupid, it’s totally inapplicable to an underage girl of the sort that Dawn was on Buffy:

Comment I will make on this. Was. There was a rule. Saying. He’s not allowed in a room alone with Michelle again.” Born October 11, 1985, Trachtenberg appeared on Buffy between 2000-2003- which would put the actress between the ages of 14-15 when she first started filming the series.

Never, ever, trust a gamma of any age around a young woman. Sooner or later, they will gamma-creep on her. Guaranteed.

Never trust a male feminist

Cordelia, Tara, Spike, and Buffy all come out publicly against Joss Whedon: UPDATE: as have Anja and Dawn.

The lead in Buffy, Sarah M Geller, voiced support for Carpenter in an Instagram post on Wednesday, which read: ‘While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon… I stand with all survivors of abuse and am proud of them for speaking out.’

Fellow castmate Amber Benson, who played Tara on Buffy, echoed Carpenter’s sentiments, writing: ‘Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts at the top. @AllCharisma is speaking truth and I support her 100{3549d4179a0cbfd35266a886b325f66920645bb4445f165578a9e086cbc22d08}. There was a lot of damage done during that time and many of us are still processing it twenty plus years later.’ 

‘Last summer, when Ray Fisher publicly accused Joss of abusive and unprofessional behavior toward the cast and crew during reshoots on the Justice League set in 2017, it gutted me,’ she continued. ‘Joss has a history of being casually cruel. He has created hostile and toxic work environments since his early career. I know because I experienced it first-hand. Repeatedly.’

Whedon has not yet responded to the allegations made by Carpenter. Carpenter claims Whedon would regularly make ‘passive-aggressive’ threats to fire her throughout the filming of the two shows, which she said ‘wreaks havoc on a young actor’s self-esteem.’

The actress further alleged that Whedon would ‘callously’ mock her and call her fat to other members of the cast and crew when she was four months pregnant, despite weighing just 126 lbs, she said.

‘He was mean and biting, disparaging about others openly, and often played favorites, pitting people against one another to compete and vie for his attention and approval,’ Carpenter continued of Whedon.

She claimed in one instance Whedon called her in for a sit-down meeting to ‘interrogate and berate’ her regarding a tattoo she had gotten during filming to help her cope with ‘a volatile work climate that affected me physically.’

Carpenter has previously accused Whedon of writing her character off Angel during its fourth season back in 2003 because he was ‘upset’ she had gotten pregnant. During Season 4, the character of Cordelia turns ‘evil’ and eventually ends up in a coma, never to reawaken. Once eventually informed, Carpenter said Whedon requested a one-on-one meeting with her, in which he allegedly asked her, ‘[Are you] going to keep it?’

‘He proceeded to attack my character, mock my religious beliefs, accuse me of sabotaging the show, and then unceremoniously fired me the following season once I gave birth,’ she claimed.

Nasty little creatures, gammas. Give them even a modicum of power and it inevitably goes right to their egos. And the creatures that obtain power in the Hellmouth are among the worst.

The city of the damned

A former Hollywood attorney explains that the evil in the Hellmouth is not isolated, but pervasive and systematic. And there are no innocents, the ticket is not forced on anyone. You have to choose to sell your soul.

I want to say something as an atty who worked in Pedowood until 2018. The very famous ones who were “suicided” were all guilty. I want you all to know that. They ALL signed the cabal’s contract and took the deal. They knew EXACTLY what they were getting into. I’ll tell you how it happens. You come here or are groomed for here or whatever. You seek fame and fortune for your art. Whatever you seek you will find. Except justice, truth and God. Not among the puppet masters.

A lot of young ones come here from all over the country hoping to be discovered. They go to parties, clubs, bars, whatever hopping to meet that one person who is going to help them. Meanwhile, the Luciferian order/cabal/shitshow – whatever you want to call them, is looking for these young folks. Yes, they are young, but so was I. I never took their stupid deals. I never signed up. I have good judgment and morals. I was a writer hired for Paramount LONG ago and I said NO THANK YOU.

So there is a structure to this system, like any company or organization. And its called “The Family”. Yes that is what they call it. The ones on the bottom (talent scouts, grips, workers, low level writers producers anyone who works for “them”) has NO idea what is going on. Truly, they are sheep and cattle. They just work like all of us….

They offer you money. LOTS of it. I mean, lets say you have made it through the low level ranks. You’ve done the casting calls, the open mics, the creepy modeling shoots and parties in the Hills with some fat bastard who can’t seen his d!ck when he looks down cuz his stomach is sticking out and he’s drooling over anything breathing, and you are still not taking their deal and they want you? The next thing is you are offered a “deal”. They assign a new “handler” to you that you are not even aware is a handler. This person may be a sound design guy, a manager, even a friggin nanny. Its completely infiltrated.

They gain your trust. BUT here is where the kicker is: YOU HAVE A FKKKKN CHOICE! After you have been groomed, your teeth are fixed, you don’t look like a hobo, you speak eat properly, you have a manager agent. They even pay for their HOMES and rentals. Most of this is all done under trusts and fake corps. All the attys and accountants that handle this know, many are located in the same buildings. Century City, Wilshire District, BH, you name it. I have seen it all. They sit you down with your bestie/handler who has been reporting to the luciferians the WHOLE TIME and say to you: you are ready. You’re like ready for what?

Ready for joining the FAMILY. YES. They ask you to sign over contracts – basically your LIFE – in the contract it often says they own you and your soul throughout the Universe. Its crafted very well. BUT ITS OBVIOUS. So many are lured by MONEY that they TAKE THE DEAL!

BUT – this is the ONE thing that the public doesn’t know: THEY TELL YOU TO YOUR FACE WHAT IS GOING ON!

Which, of course, means that they all know perfectly well what is going on. So don’t shed any tears when the Dies Irae falls upon them, and stay the hell away from it.

The collapsing Hellmouth

The U.S. domestic box office was down 80 percent in 2020:

For the first time ever, China supplanted North America as the world’s top moviegoing market. Yet no country was spared as global box office revenue likely tumbled more than 72 percent, including a 70 percent dip in the Middle Kingdom.

Domestic movie tickets sold between Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 came generated an estimated $2.3 billion compared to $11.4 billion in 2019, according to Comscore estimates. That’s the lowest showing in at least 40 years. The dramatic fall-off was expected, considering that many cinemas have been closed for more than nine months in the U.S.

Globally, 2020 movie ticket sales are expected to come in between $11.5 billion and $12 billion, compared to 2019’s $42.5 billion.

What’s interesting is that no major studios have folded yet. One wonders how much longer they can hold on. The assumption is that people will come back once the theaters open again, but that assumption is not necessarily valid. When people’s habits change, they aren’t always amenable to changing back. Especially when the studios are showing no sign of improving their products. To the contrary, they’re actually getting worse:

Wonder Woman 1984’s scores on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes have fallen to the point that the DC film is now the worst-rated of the Extended Universe. IMDb, an Amazon site, gives it a star rating standing at 5.6 out of 10 with 90,653 user votes. That’s lower than Birds of Prey’s current score of 6.1 and Suicide Squad’s 6.0 score, formerly the lowest scoring DCEU film after over 596k user votes.


There is nothing good about the Hellmouth

 Even that which appears to be harmless is just a trap for the innocent unwary. CDAN reveals a blind item:

He would sucker you in with the shows and the wholesome image, but it was the movies that he showed his true vision. He was A+ list and was a director and a head of a studio and a behind the scenes performer. With his television shows, he made parents feel it was safe to take kids to see his movies, even when they seemed like they might be too much. There is a prequel streaming right now of one of his biggest visions. He made a movie decades ago that encompassed everything he believed and always thought if he could get kids to watch it, that he could somehow control them. The movie was essentially about mind control, rituals and blood sacrifice disguised as a children’s movie. He said he wanted to make those kinds of movies so kids would get used to those ideas and think of them as normal later in life.
