Convergence Complete: BSA

It’s official. The Boy Scouts of America are dead.

The Boy Scouts Of America released a statement in support of Black Lives Matter and now say they’ll require Eagle Scouts to earn a diversity and inclusion badge. According to the rest of their statement, they “haven’t been as brave as they should have been” following the deaths of Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.

This organization turned into a joke when they made it sexist to keep women out of the Boy Scouts, but now they’re a laughing stock.

This is why it is utterly and absolutely futile to continue participating in any organization that refuses to police itself. There were many people right here on this blog who continued to make excuses for their continued involvement with the Boy Scouts, and any number of various rationalizations and justifications for it.

But once an SJW-infested organization begins to converge, it’s over. Because if you didn’t have the sense to keep them out in the first place, you’re not going to be able to do a damn thing once they’ve established their strongholds and feel secure enough to begin actively tranforming the organization.

Keep this in mind the next time you’re warned about an organization with which you’re involved. Because if you don’t care enough to protect it, you will not keep it.

Leaving Los Angeles

The Golden Age of the Golden State is long over:

California’s population fell by more than 182,000 last year, the first yearly loss ever recorded for the nation’s most populous state. The decline halted a growth streak dating to its founding in 1850 on the heels of a gold rush that prompted a flood of people to seek their fortune in the West.

The figures released Friday followed last week’s announcement from the U.S. Census Bureau that California would lose a congressional seat for the first time because it grew more slowly than other states over the past decade. Still, California’s population of just under 39.5 million and soon-to-be 52-member congressional delegation remain by far the largest.

California’s population has surged and slowed in the decades since its founding, with notable increases following World War II and the tech boom of the 1980s and ’90s that put Silicon Valley on the map.

In recent years, more people have left California for other states than have moved there, a trend Republicans say is a result of the state’s high taxes and progressive politics. The average sale price of a single-family home in California hit a record $758,990 in March, a 23.9{3549d4179a0cbfd35266a886b325f66920645bb4445f165578a9e086cbc22d08} increase from a year ago.

“The numbers don’t lie. People are leaving our state because it’s not affordable to live here,” tweeted Kevin Faulconer, the former mayor of San Diego and one of the Republican candidates hoping to unseat Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom in this year’s expected recall election.

But the Newsom administration says California’s population decline is an outlier, blaming it on the coronavirus pandemic that turned everything upside down in 2020. In a normal year, California might have between 140,000 and 150,000 people move in from other countries. In 2020, it was just 29,000 people — a direct impact, state officials say, of the Trump administration halting new visas for much of the year.

It’s a good test for how magic the dirt of California is. I, for one, tend to suspect that no one will be wishing they could all be California girls in 2050.

Better learn to plumb

Forget space. Forget science. At this point, indoor plumbing is rapidly on the way out.

President Joe Biden has now taken the push for “diversity” in STEM to a new level. His candidate to head the Department of Energy’s Office of Science, the largest funder of the physical sciences in the U.S., is a soil geologist at the University of California, Merced. She has no background in physics, the science of energy, or the energy sector. She has never held a position as a scientific administrator. The typical head of DOE’s Office of Science in the past has had managerial authority in the nation’s major physics labs and has been a physicist himself, Science reports. The new nominee’s only managerial experience consists of serving since 2020 as an interim associate dean of UC Merced’s graduate division.

Asmeret Asefaw Berhe is, however, a black female who has won “accolades for her work to promote diversity in science,” as Science puts it. Berhe would be the first black woman to head the $7 billion office, and that is reason enough, according to the diversity mantra, why she should oversee X-ray synchrotrons, the development of nuclear weapons, and ongoing research on nuclear fusion.

One guess what type of “science” is going to be the only kind getting funding going forward. You’ll have a better chance of getting a major grant if you’re an astrologist or a witch doctor who claims to be able to heal herpes than if you’re a physicist or a geneticist. Of course, the latter will still be funded by the military. The US may not have working toilets in ten years, but at least there is a reasonable chance at functional bioweaponry.

I thought Diversity was just ridiculous back when I first heard it being bandied about my 99-percent white university campus in the late 1980s. Now it appears to be the most aggressively dyscivilizational concept since feminism.

Convergence here, convergence there

Convergence pretty much everywhere. A pair of readers email about their recent run-ins with organizational convergence:

I ran a fan channel on YouTube, Owen Benjamin Digest, that reposted clips from you, Owen and more recently Stefan. Since I really want to help spread awareness, I have made sure to adhere to every single Promethean rule that YouTube imposes on its content creators, and cut out some of your most enlightening pieces as a compromise. Moreover, I spent grueling weekends trying to appeal to Christian men on YouTube by remixing your and Stef’s interviews with wholesome, family friendly rap beats, just to really bring home the message. It was fun, educational and really spread the gospel.

Despite that, the channel, hundreds of subscribers, dozens of hours of highlights, days and days of work, got terminated today, and my appeal was struck down within minutes. I am absolutely positive that it is solely because your names were included in the titles of the videos, and they have some evil desire to wipe you, Owen, Stef all of us, off the internet. It is a literal digital Holocaust!

If you mention any of the Names That Shall Not Be Mentioned, the SJWs will do their best to ensure the minds under their control neither see nor hear them.

I just wanted to inform you about the incredibly reasonable requests which the student government at the U of MN – TC are making. One example includes the eminently just policy which allows “No-excuse-required extensions on assignments for Black and Muslim students, along with those who protested in favored causes”. Convergence is here; convergence is there; convergence is increasing everywhere!

Of course, one can’t reasonably expect blacks or muslims to do their work on time. That would be racist or something. It’s fascinating to see that those who literally argue that non-Europeans can’t be expected to do their homework don’t grasp what that implies for when those same non-European college graduates will be required to keep the lights on and the toilets flushing.

One guess what’s going to happen. Just one guess….

Black privilege

Now that black men such as Deshaun Watson and Noel Clarke have been credibly accused of being sexual predators by literally dozens of women, suddenly SJWs are worried about due process, innocence until proven guilty, and the unfairness of trial by media:

Noel Clarke is facing the prospect of a police investigation after seven more women came forward to accuse the Bafta star of a campaign of sexual harassment and bullying.

With 27 women now saying they were sexually harassed or groped by the celebrated actor and director, Scotland Yard has said it is ‘assessing’ a specific allegation. The Met Police confirmed that a ‘third-party report’ was made on April 21 ‘relating to allegations of sexual offences committed by a male over a period of time’….

Meanwhile, it was reported that Bafta spent two weeks deciding how best to respond to allegations against Clarke prior to presenting him with one of its highest honours, the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award.

In a statement, Bafta claimed it had acted ‘as quickly and supportively as we could, even though we had only received the most generic of claims and no actual first-hand information to investigate allegations which were potentially of a criminal nature’.

The Guardian said senior figures within the film academy were worried about the potential reputational damage to the organisation over its handling of the claims against Clarke.

Bafta chair Krishnendu Majumdar was reportedly aware there could be as many as 12 women making allegations against Clarke on the eve of the awards ceremony.

He sought to speak to anyone with first-hand experience of Clarke’s alleged misconduct and told an industry figure he was ‘trying to do something about’ the situation as it could ‘destroy’ Bafta ‘in the court of public opinion’, the newspaper said.

Majumdar is said to have described the allegations as a ‘desperately difficult situation for us’ as Bafta ‘cannot act as judge and jury’.

Let’s face it, a white quarterback might survive a single accusation, but the media storm would be relentless, as evidenced by the coverage of the Peyton Manning and Ben Rothlisberger situations. He’d be suspended proactively by the NFL by the time the third accusation was made. And can anyone imagine a white actor who was accused of sexual harassment by twelve women being presented a major cinematic award?

For all their incessant crying about racism, the simple fact is that blacks simply aren’t held to the same behavioral standards as others.

I have no doubt the film academy was worried about reputational damage if they didn’t give the 12x-accused (now 27x) sexual predator the award. The only thing they fear more than being called “racist” is being called “anti-semitic”. But it’s hard to see what the problem is. After all, if the Hellmouth didn’t give awards to sexual predators, they couldn’t give out awards.

UPDATE: This bit is classic. Notice how Clarke’s lawyers don’t even hesitate to completely lie about an easily-confirmed fact, then just keep producing excuses when they are caught red-handed.

Clarke’s lawyers said they did not dispute that such a scene had been shot, but said it was in the script and agreed in advance. Informed by the Guardian that there was no reference to a female performer straddling a male performer, or anything that could be interpreted as requiring that, Clarke’s lawyers queried which version of the script was being referred to and said there was “a degree of improvisation” that performers and crew were all comfortable with.

The ineptitude of imaginary politics

A black man explains the inherent incompetence of conservatives who insist on basing their political strategies on ideology rather than the intrinsic tendencies of the various identity groups:

The truth is that victimhood is intertwined with the politics of black solidarity. Unless Republicans abandon the message of self-help, blacks will never perceive them as an attractive option to Democrats, and it is a waste of time for Republicans to specifically target black voters.

The 2020 election is a perfect example of this. Donald Trump marketed himself as a friend of black people, working strenuously to improve black economic conditions and perform many other services for the black community during his administration. Yet despite these efforts, Trump won only 14 percent of the black vote. Republicans are wasting their time by targeting specifically black voters….

Expecting blacks to disavow the cult of victimhood appears to be wishful thinking, and so the chances of Republicans earning a sizeable chunk of black support will likely remain slim. Thus, going after the black vote and expecting blacks to deviate from the tribal politics of racial solidarity seems to be merely a waste of time for Republicans.

On average and in sum, blacks will abandon victimhood politics at the same time that women abandon solipsistic politics and Jews abandon Holocaustianity. These things will never happen because they are effective and in line with both a) the collective objectives of the identity group’s leadership and b) the personal objectives of the average individual member of the identity group.

Refusing to acknowledge statistical realities and basing one’s core strategies on the basis of one’s ideals and what one imagines one would do if one were someone else is neither noble nor intelligent. It’s delusional and solipsistic.

Ideology politics are imaginary politics

It is fascinating to hear a black man echo a red man’s words that have led some to accuse the latter of being a white supremacist. It should be interesting to see if they reach the same conclusion about him.

The reality is that we all reap the benefits brought about by the rise of Western civilization. As such, the destruction of Western culture will not redound to the advantage of non-whites who abhor the West, nor to that of anyone else. Non-whites who fail to affirm this salient point are simply foolish.

He’s absolutely correct. I suspect that he, too, is a fan of electricity and interior plumbing.

Mass immigration is murder

It’s really rather remarkable, in the historical context, how so many Western countries continue to endure one murderous provocation after another while staunchly refusing to take any steps to resolve the situation.

Stephanie M, a 49-year-old mother-of-two, was slashed in the throat by Djamel G, a Tunisian delivery driver at 2.20pm today as she worked in a police station in the leafy Paris suburb of Rambouillet.

French prosecutors have opened a terror probe after the killing which was carried out by the 36-year-old who arrived in France illegally in 2009 before he was given leave to remain in 2019.

Stephanie, an admin worker, who had worked for the police since 1993, had just ‘popped out of the station to change the parking disc on her car’ when she was pounced on by the attacker in the lobby. Investigators said the killer had been scouting the site before the attack in broad daylight.

France’s counter-terrorism unit has taken over the investigation into the killing. Francois Bersani, a police union official, said the attacker slipped into the building before shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’, meaning ‘God is greatest’ in Arabic.

The attacker was not previously known to police or anti-terrorist authorities and had recently moved to Rambouillet having previously lived in the Val-de-Marne.

The murdered woman was the mother of two children aged 13 and 18.

Rambouillet is a quiet and leafy commune southwest of Paris and is known for its historic chateau.

The reason the media is harping incessantly on the evils of white supremacy is because the boomerang effect in response to the invasions of the last 55 years promises to be of a that will make the democides of the 20th century look like a golden age. And perhaps they can fend it off for a while longer, but history has demonstrated that demographics is destiny.

There is a reason that people who look different and speak different and worship different used to be attacked on sight. Thanks to decades of “progress”, those days are in the process of returning.

One can’t miss what isn’t there

Before the St. Floyd riots made it internationally notorious, I was occasionally asked if I regretted leaving Minneapolis. I don’t, as it happens, and perhaps this account of a woman who is a lifelong resident and is leaving Minneapolis today will help explain why:

I’ve lived in Minneapolis my entire life. I’m leaving Friday. I no longer recognize my hometown. Minneapolis is my home. My happiest memories are here. It’s where I learned to ride a bike, had my first date, received my high school diploma.

But today, I’m too afraid to even walk in my neighborhood by myself.

The ACE Hardware down the street? The one that I used to bike to in the summer? Robbed twice in the past five days.

The Walgreens next to my elementary school? Molotov cocktail thrown into it.

The Lake Harriet Bandshell, where we spent countless Mother’s Days? Homeless encampment popped up next door.

These are the things you don’t read about in the news.

My friends from MA, Edina, and Jefferson used to hang out at Lake Harriet on a regular basis once we got our drivers licenses. It was like an 80s movie come to life, only decorated with better-looking guys and much prettier blonde girls. I can’t even imagine a homeless encampment there.

Even two decades ago, the last time I was downtown, the area from First Avenue to Washington Avenue was barely recognizable even though most of the landmarks were the same, including the place where I first met Spacebunny. It looked less like the place I spent most of my weekend evenings and a lot more like my recollections of nights out in Atlanta.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that people are now afraid to walk in their own neighborhoods.

The beatification of St. Floyd

Apparently East 38th Street and Chicago Avenue is now a holy place for Africans. The POX have even put up a sign to commemorate St. Floyd’s overdose and ascension:

“Decenter yourself and come to listen, learn, mourn, and witness. Remember you are here to support, not to be supported.”

“Be mindful of whether your volume, pace, and movements are supporting or undermining your efforts to decenter yourself. Seek to contribute to the energy of the space, rather than drain it. Bring your own processing to other white folks so that you will not harm BIPOC (black, Indigenous and people of color).

“Consider if you want or need to take photos and post them. Do not take photos of other people without their consent.”

“If you witness white folks doing problematic things, speak up with compassion to take the burden off of Black folks and our siblings of color whenever appropriate. Seek to engage rather than escalate, so that it can be a learning moment rather than a disruption.”

As an Indigenous sibling of color, I’d certainly appreciate it if you white folks would take off your shoes before entering this sacred space. Watch out for the needles, though.

The Rorschach Test

A reader relates a time that he failed it. If you refuse to allow people to be held accountable to their own decisions and actions, they are never going to learn from their mistakes or change their behavior:

When I was in grad school, there was a female grad student who gave a presentation on “toxic, white masculinity” in the library. Well, it was extremely late at night, and I was leaving the library, when I saw her. This was in one of America’s most dangerous cities. It’s normal for us to walk female students and professors to their cars at this university. Especially for me, being 6’10”. Well, her car was a good bit away, and to get there, she would have had to cross two different groups of negroes, in darkness, aside from two, weak streetlights. She asked me to walk her to her car. I said, “you don’t need me too. I’m not seeing any toxic white males over there.” She looked confused, then shocked, then upset, because there were no other people nearby, and she knew instantly that I was angry at her treason. She would have to walk to her car alone, unless she was willing to wait an hour for the campus police to finish up arresting criminal negroes elsewhere. She asked “please,” a couple of times, and I agreed to walk her to her car, if she would listen to what I had to say, and I gave her an earful about how rotten and treasonous she was being, and how the real world is out there, waiting to chew us up. That she needed to bring white children into the world. I hope it had an impact. I doubt it. Not as much of one as letting her get assaulted and robbed would have had, but I lacked the strength and resolve to let that happen. I didn’t have the heart to standby while she got clocked and had her laptop stolen.

If you don’t have the heart to permit people to experience the inevitable consequences of their choices, you are an enabler. You are, quite literally, part of the problem. You are helping destroy civilization.

Hence the importance of the Rorschach Test and accepting the teachable moment.

This city’s afraid of me. I’ve seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood. When the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up around their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout: ‘save us.’

And I’ll whisper, no.

There is a place for mercy and forgiveness, but only in response to genuine repentance, not momentary uncertainty and fear. In the absence of repentance, never stand between Justice and her lawful prey.
